Music with Mr. Jeremy

Music is a language. Let's learn to speak it.

Ready to make music?

Online piano lessons that go beyond simply playing the right notes. Together we'll explore how music works, build strong musical foundations, and ask important questions like: "Why does this chord feel like this?" and "What is this piece actually saying?"

What do online piano lessons look like?

Anyone can learn where to put their fingers. My goal is to help students understand what's happening beneath the surface so they can become confident, independent, and creative musicians. After all, music theory isn't a collection of bullet points to memorize - it's simply a way to describe the patterns that musicians have been using for generations.

"My goal isn't just to teach students what to play—it's to help them understand why they're playing it."

Jeremy Wong

Hi, I’m Mr. Jeremy!

Music has been a part of my life for as long as I can remember. I began playing piano at age five and was already arranging music and self-publishing songs by middle school. Although my path eventually led me into software engineering and a decade of exploring different career opportunities, I kept finding myself returning to music. Over time, I realized that what I most enjoyed wasn't simply making music, but was instead helping others discover and understand it. Today, teaching allows me to combine my love of music, creativity, and problem-solving. Returning to music wasn't a change in direction so much as a return to where I started.
